Ryan Nemeth was reportedly sent home from Saturday night’s AEW Collision TV tapings after he was told he wouldn’t be needed.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Nemeth was brought into town for Saturday’s AEW Collision taping but was told by a coach shortly after arriving to the venue that he wasn’t needed. The real-life brother of Dolph Ziggler was then told that a flight for him had already been booked to take him back home.

Nemeth, who is a regular on the “Being the Elite” series, was reportedly confronted by CM Punk after he returned earlier this year at the debut episode of Collision. At the time, Punk took issue with Nemeth tweeting “Literally the softest man alive” following Punk’s return to All Elite Wrestling. As of this writing, there is no word on where things went beyond that. It’s said that Nemeth explained himself and nothing physical took place.

As of this writing, there is no word on whether Punk had any influence on AEW’s decision to send Nemeth home this week.

The last time Nemeth was featured on AEW/ROH television was on the May 7th episode of ROH TV.
