For years, Roman Reigns has been the paramount figure of WWE SmackDown, reigning supreme as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, carrying considerable clout even today.
As reported by Ibou from WrestlePurists, Reigns wields extensive influence over the bookings, even those that were part of last weekend’s ladder match. He remarked,
“Roman’s authority is absolute. Such is his influence, he’s even given the power to book other individuals on SmackDown. In all honesty, I inquired just a couple of weeks ago, who would clinch the tag team ladder match among The Bloodline, The Street Profits, and DIY? The individual I consulted responded, “That’s Roman’s call.” So, who came out on top? Exactly.”
The Bloodline, with representatives Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, clung to their titles post the match and were subsequently congratulated by Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa.
In the WWE Bad Blood 2024, Reigns joined forces with Cody Rhodes and won their match against Solo and Fatu. This marked Reigns’ triumphant return post his loss at WrestleMania 40.
Post-match, WWE witnessed the return of The Rock who shared an intense stare-down with Reigns, Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso, who had also made his return mid-match.
