Roderick Strong isn’t going anywhere.
The former WWE NXT North American Champion has reportedly signed a contract extension with WWE, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.
“WWE has seen a lot of roster turnover recently, but some stars have agreed to new deals with the company,” wrote Ross Sapp. “One of which we’ve heard of is Roderick Strong, one of the members of the new Diamond Mine faction, agreeing to terms on a contract extension ahead of the group debuting, as well as ahead of his wife Marina Shafir being released by the company, some point earlier this year.
“We’ve been told Roderick Strong figures big into NXT’s 2021 plans, especially their efforts to add marquee value to the Cruiserweight Title.”
As the leader of Diamond Mine, Strong has regained his status as a prominent player on WWE NXT in recent weeks, and it’s safe to assume this trend will continue throughout the summer.
