For a while, it seemed like the once strong relationship between Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling was on thin ice at best. But a new report suggests that the two companies remain on good terms. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling have been in contact with each other. “We’re told that Ring of Honor and New Japan have an open dialogue and at least tentatively plan on releasing content together,” wrote Ross Sapp.

The report doesn’t mention specific projects, but it does suggest that the two companies plan to collaborate going forward. Ross Sapp also stated that his sources suggested that New Japan Pro-Wrestling will also aim to work with more partners when they can.
