Ric Flair shocked the wrestling world when he accompanied Andrade El Idolo to the ring at TripleMania XXIX.
In an update to the situation, Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reports that Flair’s WWE release didn’t come with the standard non-compete clause, so Flairis completely free to appear for other promotions.
Additionally, Flair made this appearance for AAA for no fee; he even arranged and paid for his own transportation to the event.
Flair got physical with AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega during his bout with Andrade, leaving some fans to wonder what the future holds for “The Nature Boy.” Wherever he goes, it’s now clear that he’s immediately permitted to appear for other promotions.
WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
