Former AEW superstar, Rey Fenix, has officially parted ways with the promotion.
Recent reports from Pwinsider suggest that Fenix has been removed from AEW’s official roster page and is recognized as a wrestling free agent since March 3, 2025.
There had been circulating speculations last year about the possible exit of Rey Fenix and his brother Penta from AEW.
Current speculations suggest that, now that he is free from his AEW obligations, Fenix might be redirected towards WWE.
While AEW extended Fenix’s contract timeline in the wake of his injury, they haven’t included him in recent shows.
The last time Fenix stepped into the ring for AEW was during the July 20th episode of Collision.
