WWE has grand aspirations for Roman Reigns for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view occasion scheduled for the upcoming February in Indianapolis, Indiana.
WrestleVotes, during a Backstage Pass Live Q&A session, revealed that WWE insiders have hinted towards Reigns’ participation in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Assuming this is true, it will represent Reigns’ initial involvement in the 30-man bout since 2020, when he later went on to win the Universal title in the same year.
Reigns has stepped into the ring for the Royal Rumble battle five times and celebrated victory in 2015. He has also claimed the secondary position thrice so far.
The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble is set to be held at the Lucas Oil Stadium, marking the initiation of a colossal agreement with Indianapolis.
Under the same agreement, WWE also intends to present a two-night SummerSlam and a two-night WrestleMania. However, the dates for these shows have not yet been revealed.
