Report: Plans For FTR’s First Night Of AEW Tapings

FTR is finally free in AEW and now, we know what they’ll be doing on their first night in their new home.
According to a report from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, Dax Harwood (Scott Dawson) & Dash Wilder (Cash Wheeler) are not working any matches at tonight’s AEW Dynamite tapings, but they are participating in “pre tapes.” So, expect to see them in upcoming vignettes and/or interviews.

The duo debuted on 5/27, saving Matt & Nick Jackson from Butcher & Blade. Now, the duo is well in the fold at AEW, and not only did they come face-to-face with The Young Bucks, but they finally took a photo-op with Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, two of their main influences.

The duo left WWE on April 10th, 2020. Their release was effective immediately as they did not have much time left on their contract to hold them to a no-compete clause.
