Crazy, but that’s how it goes… Ozzy Osbourne will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer is reporting Osbourne was part of this year’s Hall Of Fame ceremony that was taped last week. Osbourne wasn’t at the ceremony in person, but the report states that he recorded a video message for the event.
Osbourne has made several appearances on WWE TV over the years, including his WrestleMania 2 appearance where he joined Captain Lou Albano to manage The British Bulldogs in their WWF Tag Team Championship win over Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine. Osbourne has also performed live at a SmackDown taping in Baltimore in May 2007, and later served as a special guest host for Raw in November 2009.
It would appear that Osbourne is the latest celebrity wing inductee, joining William Shatner as the celebrity honorees at this year’s ceremony. Other celebrities inducted over the years include Pete Rose, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Drew Carey, Mike Tyson and Mr. T.
The updated list of 2020 and 2021 WWE Hall of Fame classes includes Davey Boy Smith, JBL, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, nWo, the Bella Twins, William Shatner in the 2020 class, and Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Kane, and The Great Khali in the 2021 class.
The WWE Hall of Fame 2020 and 2021 Induction Ceremonies will air at 8 p.m. EST on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network around the world.
