Could the Wednesday Night Wars already be at an end? Always reliable source WrestleVotes is reporting that there are talks to move NXT from its position opposite AEW Dynamite. Barring a few notable exceptions, the show has reliably come in second behind Dynamite, and a move to a different night could yield new interest from fans.

Over the past month or so, discussions have transpired regarding NXT moving off Wednesday nights. No decision imminent, however, talks are ongoing. The numbers over the next 2 weeks might have some impact on this decision.

WrestleVotes reports that NXT’s current two week “Super Tuesday” stint could provide valuable data to those in charge regarding the move. IMPACT Wrestling currently airs its weekly TV product on Tuesday nights on AXS TV, but that show would not provide the same level of competition as AEW for WWE’s third brand.

This week’s Tuesday show featured a four-way Iron Man Match that ended in a two-way tie. This draw will be resolved this coming Tuesday in a match between Adam Cole and Finn Balor for the vacant NXT Championship.
