Report: NXT Moving To The WWE Performance Center, Starting With TakeOver 31 This Sunday

NXT is slated to take over the WWE Performance Center.
According to a report from POST Wrestling, NXT TakeOver 31 event will not be taking place at Full Sail University and will instead be moved to the WWE PC. Sources noted that NXT will tape out of the PC “for the foreseeable future” and 205 Live will also tape shows at Performance Center beginning next week. F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer has also confirmed WWE’s plans to move the TV tapings.
WWE had been taping RAW and SmackDown at the PC prior to moving to Amway Center in downtown Orlando, where they currently are hosting a residency at the venue through the end of October.
It’s worth noting that Wednesday’s media call featured Paul Levesque (Triple H) stating this Sunday’s TakeOver event would “have a unique look and feel, something totally different that hasn’t been done, so far” and said it could be a game-changing move for the NXT brand.
NXT TakeOver 31 is the first NXT live special to take place at the WWE Performance Center; WWE hosted four total pay-per-view events at the venue in 2020 starting with WrestleMania 36.
The event features the following matches, as well as a “returning NXT Superstar” being teased:

Damian Priest (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
NXT Women’s Championship
Io Shirai (c) vs. Candice LeRae
NXT Championship
Finn Bálor (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Kushida vs. Velveteen Dream
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Santos Escobar (c) vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
