Report – NJPW Wants To Continue Working With Mercedes Mone

Since leaving WWE over a creative dispute with Vince McMahon last year, Mercedes Mone has been working with New Japan Pro Wrestling and STARDOM in recent months. She officially made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 back in January.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the relationship between NJPW and Mone has been solid and although she’s not currently signed to a long-term contract, New Japan Pro Wrestling officials would like to continue working with her going forward.

Mone recently dropped the IWGP Women’s Championship to Mayu Iwatani at the STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom event. It was later announced that Mone will be working the NJPW Resurgence event on May 21st.
