As per reports, New Japan Pro Wrestling displayed interest in employing more AEW talent for its Wrestle Dynasty event, but met an unforeseen hiccup. The January 5th event, it has been reported, couldn’t secure certain talent, as they were already committed to the AEW Collision TV tapings scheduled for the same Saturday.
In AEW Worlds End: Zero Hour’s pre-show, an intense match saw Toni Storm emerge victorious against Leila Grey. Storm clinched her win with an inward cradle, marking the finish of the first game.
Subsequently, an elated Storm shared her experience in an interview with Lexy Nair, where she enthusiastically remarked on her “first” AEW pay-per-view win. Deonna Purrazzo slyly played along with Storm’s apparent ‘amnesia’. An upcoming match between Purrazzo and Storm will be featured in the next week’s edition of AEW Collision.
