Report: MLW Unhappy With WWE Over Alleged Tampering
According to a recent report from PWInsider, Major League Wrestling attorneys have recently engaged WWE attorneys this week, with the company alleging that WWE is attempting to tamper with contracted MLW superstars.
In the report, it doesn’t note a specific cause for this, but simply states that “multiple talents” have allegedly been tampered with by WWE. Since the company started signing superstars in 2018, their contracts have forbidden them from working WWE shows, which means that any superstars in contact with the company could be in breach of contract. While that hasn’t stopped people before, it seems that MLW is interested in pursuing the matter, and doesn’t want to see WWE interfering with any of their talents.
It’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not this escalates, but the report does state that MLW feels that it has plenty of evidence of tampering occurring, so it will be worth monitoring as the situation progresses.
