During his emotional segment, Owens admitted that he’s unsure of his return date, citing the impact of his 25 year long wrestling career on his physical wellbeing. While making his exit, Owens momentarily crossed paths with Randy Orton, with neither participant engaging in any physical altercation.
Subsequently, Orton received news from Nick Aldis that his originally planned match against Owens at WrestleMania 41 was no longer in the cards. This announcement resulted in Orton retaliating with an RKO on Aldis.
