Report: Kairi Sane Signs New Deal With WWE

Kairi Sane will be returning to WWE after signing a new deal with the promotion, it has been reported.

Sane, a former NXT Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, left WWE in December 2021, over a year after being off of TV.

The ‘Pirate Princess’ had requested in 2020 to be removed from TV so she could return to her native Japan, where she served as an ambassador for WWE.

Pwinsider is reporting that Sane has come to terms with returning to the company.

During her time away from WWE, Sane competed for STARDOM and became the first IWGP Women’s Champion. She lost the title to Mercedes Mone in February 2023.
