Additional information has emerged regarding Jade Cargill, one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, who continues to be absent from the action.
Reports surrounding Cargill’s condition have been mixed, with some suggesting her injury is authentic, while others believe it is simply a plot point.
However, according to the newest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a senior source within WWE unequivocally stated that Jade is “absolutely injured.”
The insider also revealed that Cargill has been consulting with WWE’s medical team and “other medical professionals” to manage her circumstances.
Cargill was written out of TV programming following an altercation in a parking lot. Lash Legend has since filled her slot in the Women’s U.S. Title Tournament.
The WWE has not yet made a statement regarding the future of the Women’s Tag Team Titles, held by Cargill and Bianca Belair since the Bash In Berlin event in August.
