AEW fans are eagerly awaiting the comeback of a past titleholder who has been recuperating from an injury.
“Switchblade” Jay White has been off the AEW scene for beyond a month due to a foot ailment, causing alterations in AEW’s strategies. This injury led to the Bang Bang Gang stepping down from the AEW World Trios Championship.
White stepped into the ring for the last time on the July 6th installment of AEW Collision, losing to Hangman Page in the Owen Hart Foundation contest.
Previously, we mentioned that White underwent an assessment during a television event in August to verify his readiness to return to the weekly shows.
At some juncture, AEW had under consideration White’s participation in All In London 2024, particularly the Casino Gauntlet match, but this idea didn’t come to fruition.
WrestlePurists anticipate that White’s return to the AEW arena is “imminent.”
