Report: IMPACT Wrestling Looking To Move Forward With Rebellion PPV As Special TV Episode
As the wrestling world still tries to adjust to the shift in the world following the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak, IMPACT Wrestling is weighing its options regarding its upcoming pay-per-view, Rebellion.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, IMPACT is currently considering moving forward with the event but restructuring it as a special episode of television for their Tuesday night primetime television slot on AXS TV. Reportedly, there will be at least two new matches for the event announced on tonight’s Impact Wrestling episode and that the company has at least a plan to tape new material in an empty arena setting.

In the past, IMPACT has restructured several pay-per-view events for television, especially during the time frame where they had to drop several pay-per-views from their schedule as they entered a period of regrowth and restructure.
IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion was set to take place on April 19 at Terminal 5 in New York City. The card is slated to be headlined by Tessa Blanchard defending her IMPACT World Championship against Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards in a 3-Way-Dance.
