Report: Georgia Police Almost Shutdown AEW TV Tapings

According to multiple reports from WhatCulture, WrestlingInc, and EWrestlingNews, All Elite Wrestling’s no-fans tapings of Dynamite this week was potentially stopped when local police came to the ‘undisclosed location’, looking to potentially shut the event down due to COVID-19 regulations. AEW have not confirmed these reports or publicly commented on this situation at this time, so this news should be taken with a level of discretion.

AEW had their paper work on point, and continued on the tapings which are believed to produced TV content for the breakout promotion”s TV shows through mid May. State officials were said to be on hand to insure proper guidelines were maintained. WrestlingInc reports the taping location was wrestler QT Marchall’s gym in Norcross, Georgia. Governor Brian Kemp started at stay-at-home starting today that runs until April 13th.
