Report: Former WWE Producer Backstage Signs With AEW, Backstage At Dynamite This Week
According to a recent report from PWinsider, a former WWE producer who worked at NXT is on hand and backstage at tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Sonjay Dutt, who was most recently a part of WWE’s NXT brand as a producer and a coach, is reportedly with All Elite Wrestling tonight. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reports that Dutt has signed on with the promotion in a full-time capacity, though.
Prior to his work with WWE, Dutt was a producer for IMPACT Wrestling, but he retired from in-ring several years ago. After he joined NXT, Dutt took up the role as Performance Center Coach and Producer, so it’s unknown whether he’ll continue to work on both the coaching and production side of things in AEW.
