Report: Former Women’s Champion Melina Perez Returning To WWE Within The Week

A legendary WWE diva is returning to the fold to try her luck in the age of the Women’s Evolution.
Melina Perez, a former 2-time WWE Divas Champion and 3-time WWE Women’s Champion, is reportedly returning to WWE following the expiration of her NWA contract. Multiple sources have confirmed this report to PWInsider, who states that the legend will return to TV within the next week.
Melina, 41, first signed in WWE in 2004. She started on the main roster a year later in a managerial role for MNM alongside current SmackDown wrestler John “Nitro” Morrison and Joey Mercury. She became a full-time competition in 2006, feuding with Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, and Natalya. She was released from WWE in 2011 and returned to the independents in 2015. More recently, Melina had been appearing on NWA Powerrr and had been linked to Marti Belle, Sienna and Thunder Rosa.
