New revelations have emerged concerning the WWE status of AJ Styles and details explaining his absence from the recent episodes of SmackDown.
Before the episode was aired, it was anticipated that Styles would grace the show, marking his first appearance on WWE TV since June.
According to a report by Pwinsider, Styles was noticeably absent from the venue at Tulsa’s BOX Center but is projected to make a comeback to WWE TV prior to the Bash in Berlin event scheduled for August 31.
The reasoning behind Styles’ omission from recent programming was that the WWE had already set the creative agenda and determined that the timing wasn’t optimal to reintroduce him. Additionally, a segment involving Nia Jax was rescheduled for the next week’s episode.
Notwithstanding his absence from WWE TV, Styles participated at NOAH’s Destination event last month and also took part in WWE’s latest live event tour in Japan.
