Drew McIntyre believes there is a “good chance” he will finish his time with WWE later this year, it has been claimed.

In April, it was reported that McIntyre’s current contract is set to expire by the end of 2023 and that the two sides are not close to reaching a new deal.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that McIntyre is “working with the idea there’s a good chance he’s finishing up.”

McIntyre has not appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 39 where he unsuccessfully challenged for the Intercontinental Championship.

The two-time former WWE Champion was drafted to Monday Night RAW earlier this month.

McIntyre has been removed from the advertising for the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank PLE in London, England, and has been replaced by Roman Reigns.
