CM Punk reportedly apologized to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page after an insulting post-show promo following last week’s AEW Collision.

After the event, Punk mocked Page, saying the Cowboy cannot ‘pop’ a rating and was unable to sell merchandise.

Speaking on “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Bryan Alvarez reported that Punk apologized for his comments after Collision. He said,

“He did in fact send a text message to Hangman Page apologizing for the promo on Saturday. That is from both sides, that did happen, he did apologize to him via text message.”

Punk’s comments were not part of a storyline and have once again raised questions about the workability of his return to AEW programming.

Punk returned to TV as part of the premiere episode of AEW Collision, where he has been the new show’s top star.
