Chris Jericho’s affiliation with Ring of Honor (ROH) is projected to be nearing its end, as per a recent revelation.
Post his defeat for the ROH World Championship title against Bandido at the AEW Dynasty 2025, Jericho expressed his disappointment towards his Learning Tree crew members during the AEW Dynamite show and indicated a possible break from the action. According to Fightful Select, this hints towards AEW’s plan for Jericho’s final phase with ROH.
Notably, Bandido was marked to take up the ROH World Champion mantle for a long time. Still, his journey towards the title was postponed due to injuries, one of them being sustained during the Final Battle. Nevertheless, both AEW and ROH remained resolute in their decision to position him as the brand’s face.
In the meantime, Jericho is all set for a tour with his band Fozzy. However, only one of the tour dates overlaps with AEW’s programming schedule, thereby ensuring his availability for other appearances if required.
In additional ROH updates, here’s the updated list for the upcoming episode of ROH TV airing on HonorClub:
– ROH Women’s World Championship #1 Contenders Match: La Catalina versus Taya Valkyrie
– Johnny TV & MxM Collection squaring off against Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs
