Bobby Lashley is making his way to AEW.
Recent reports have emphasized that Bobby Lashley, the ex-WWE Champion, has allegedly finalized a contract with All Elite Wrestling. The contractual agreement occurred multiple weeks ago.
Despite the anticipation of several fans regarding Lashley’s debut at WrestleDream on the preceding Saturday night, he is scheduled to join AEW over the upcoming weeks.
Fightful Select has disclosed that Lashley was not present backstage at the show. AEW authorities contemplated having Lashley grace the pay-per-view event with his presence, but eventually chose against it due to the potential that he might have engaged Swerve Strickland in a confrontation. This would have detracted from the impact of Bryan Danielson suffering a loss at the hands of Jon Moxley during the same event. The perception within the organization was that dual attacks on popular local celebrities would not have been well-received.
In the forthcoming period, Lashley will be joining forces with MVP and Shelton Benjamin upon his arrival at AEW.
