Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but the pair will be feuding with each other soon enough.
During this week’s episode of RAW from Albany, New York, Rousey and Baszler captured the titles which had been vacated by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez due to Liv’s injury.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that the pair are keen to feud as they believe that they have the “ability to work a heated program with each other.”
WWE had plans for the pair to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39 before Rousey’s aggravated arm injury changed plans.
This latest victory marks Rousey’s first time being a tag team champion and the third for Shayna Baszler.
