Report: Alexa Bliss Has Been Written Off WWE TV Due To Upcoming Sinus Surgery

Alexa Bliss will reportedly be taking some time away from WWE programming.
Earlier this week, Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported that Bliss’ loss at WWE Extreme Rules was reportedly meant to write her off of television. Giri’s report noted that Bliss will miss “a few months”, but this length of time hasn’t been confirmed.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider wrote that Bliss has been written off TV because she’ll be having sinus surgery in the near future. Johnson noted that it’s unclear how long this absence will last.
Bliss unsuccessfully challenged Charlotte Flair for the RAW Women’s Championship at the pay-per-view, and “The Queen” destroyed her beloved Lilly doll after the match. The following night on WWE RAW, Bliss did not appear on the show.
