New details emerge regarding the contractual scenario of AJ Styles while the Phenomenal One continues to stay away from WWE shows.
AJ Styles, former WWE Champion twice over, has not been seen on WWE Television since his defeat by Cody Rhodes at Clash At The Castle: Scotland that took place in June.
According to reports from Fightful Select, insiders at WWE speculate that Styles’ contract is due to end either later this year or early the next.
It has also been revealed that attempts are being taken to sort out his contractual position, and many significant personas, some of whom have been associated with AJ, also speculate that his contract might conclude soon.
The last match that Styles participated for WWE happened on August 29, where he was again defeated by Cody Rhodes in a live event staged in Frankfurt, Germany.
In 2022, Styles decided to re-contract with WWE, reportedly securing a deal which was described as totaling to just over million per year, in addition to bus travel arrangements.
