Wrestling news suggests that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is contemplating unifying its AEW International Championship and AEW Continental Championship, both of which are secondary men’s titles.

According to information gathered by Fightful Select, this concept was put forth several months ago and initially received as a viable and creative proposition by many sources within AEW.

Presently, it is a foggy scenario about who may be a part of this unification or if the titles will be maintained separately or revamped into a singular combined championship. The company’s decision to discontinue the FTW Championship in September last year was perceived as a move to decrease the number of distinct titles within the organization.

As of now, it remains ambiguous whether the current champions, Kazuchika Okada who is the Continental Champion, and Kenny Omega who holds the International Champion title, will have any say in the unification process.
