Rebel, a well-known figure in AEW, has been absent from television screens for some time. The reason behind this, she recently disclosed, is due to a health battle with pneumonia.
The ally and previous partner of Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter last graced the AEW stage during the 2022 summer season. Today, she took to social media, more specifically Instagram, to shed light on her hospitalisation in May because of pneumonia.
Rebel shared her thoughts and update on health saying, “A healthy and fit picture for my birthday is what you can expect next year. This year did not go as planned at all. I opted to keep this private until I was on the path of recovery. Thank you to the handful of people who were aware of the situation and kept it confidential. For those unaware of the situation, I’ll avoid the nitty-gritty details but to keep it brief, I was hospitalised because of a mass found in my lung. Initial confusion over what it was later revealed to be pneumonia. Additionally, a couple of ct scans indicated some other minor health issues which I am currently addressing. Every day, I feel a bit better as I get a grip on these matters. Here’s to another year alive.”
Our team at eWn sends our best wishes and is hoping for a swift recovery for Rebel.
