Former WWE 24/7 Champion Sidney ‘Reginald/SCRYPTS’ Akeem recently conversed with MuscleManMalcolm, where he disclosed his visions of his numerous WWE 24/7 Championship stints and a potential crossover with Progressive’s Flo. He expressed,
“There was an array of ideas that remained unexamined. One of them was to create a crossover between the WWE 24/7 Title and Progressive’s 24/7 coverage. The scenario would show me evading a raging mob, but eventually, the mob manages to get me. At that point I would say, ‘Like a good neighbor…’ However, the twist would be it’s Flo from Progressive instead. Here, I reach out to her for aid, in response to which she helps me make a trampoline materialize. I’d use it for jumping over the mob. I could say, ‘I’m the longest-running 24/7 Champion because I have 24/7 coverage with Progressive.’”
He added, “This would’ve been sensational; it’s unfortunate that opportunity was not utilized. I’m also a writer, and I had also conceived a 24/7 cartoon that would represent what we were doing but in animated form.”
In further news, ECW veterans The Sandman, Bill Alfonso, Tod Gordan, and 2 Cold Scorpio will participate in a meet and greet event in Philadelphia, PA later this week. The gathering will function as a fundraiser to support Scorpio, who recently had a run-in with law enforcement while carrying out his duties as a security guard in Kansas City, MO.
