In the most recent update from Figthful, insights have been shared about WWE’s supposed interest in Rhio and Delta, both renowned indie women wrestlers.
Earlier reports hinted towards a professional interest by WWE in Rhio, who currently holds the title of PROGRESS Women’s World Champion, when she was spotted at WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland last month. She was accompanied by several other freelancing wrestling talents.
Fightful’s report affirms that although WWE’s interest in Rhio remains undeniable, no official contract has been proposed or discussed in any official or unofficial follow-up dialogues from the event.
Rhio herself is reportedly interested in a possible offer from WWE, as she already possesses a valid US visa and plans to spend some time wrestling in the United States in the near future.
Recently, WWE has been closely monitoring the arrivals of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer in NXT, but the invitation of Rhio to Clash At The Castle suggests that she does pique their interest.
As for Delta, the famed Australian wrestler has completed her obligations in her home country and is currently making preparations for her upcoming international relocation. The possibility of Delta inking a contract with WWE has been speculated, though no official affirmation has been released.
Throughout the Australian trials before the WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth, Delta managed to leave a lasting positive impact.
