A recent story from Fightful brings new light to the speculations suggesting that WWE might be interested in independent female wrestlers Rhio and Delta.
As we previously covered here on eWn, Rhio, who is currently holding the title of PROGRESS Women’s World Champion, was present at WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland in the previous month along with a number of other talents from the indie scene.
The report from Fightful indicates that inquiries were made concerning WWE’s potential interest in Rhio, and it was affirmed that there was no contract extension or conversation during the event. There has also been no ongoing conversation or discussion in regard to this.
Rhio is reportedly receptive to any proposals and is the holder of a valid US visa. She has plans to have a future bout in the United States.
Within NXT, the current primary focus of WWE is on the arrivals of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. However, the presence of Rhio at the Clash At The Castle does seem to hint at WWE having an interest in her.
As for Delta, this Australian wrestler recently fulfilled her obligations within her home country and is now getting ready to relocate overseas.
While there is conjecture surrounding Delta potentially joining WWE, there has been no official confirmation on this matter.
Delta left a lasting and positive impression during the Australian tryouts that took place before WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth.
