Real1, formerly known as Enzo Amore in WWE, has expressed his desire to come back to WWE. He discussed his tenure in the company and his disappointment with WWE’s lack of recognition for his work on a recent episode of the “Wrestling Shoot Interviews” podcast.
Highlights of the podcast’s conversation included the following points:
Real1 spoke about his aspiration: “My ultimate objective is to be recognized within WWE history by 2025. My desire is to at least join the alumni section and be recognized for my work. I want my career to be acknowledged. My goal is to have the opportunity to do what I love the most at the topmost levels in the world. Wrestling is not just my career, it’s my life.”
He shared memories of his WWE tenure: “My time in WWE was an opportunity of a lifetime. Working with greats like John Cena, Triple H, and Dusty Rhodes was an incredible experience. My connection with fans is the reason why I got booked every week. I lived as an embodiment of the brand, giving everything to keep the audiences entertained.”
Regarding a possible WWE return, Real1 stated: “For anyone in the WWE, the worst case scenario would be to hear my music playing when they’re in the arena. If someone disagrees, I would consider them misinformed.”
