This week on WWE Monday Night RAW, the Viking Raiders were scheduled to defend their WWE RAW Tag Team Championship against Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins. When an attack from the Authors of Pain removed the challengers from the equation, Orton stepped in to give the champions a new opponent. Ricochet came to the ring to team with Orton despite their tension-packed dynamic.

Early on, Erik overpowered Ricochet, who used his speed to gain some momentum. Erik caught a diving Ricochet but Orton saved his partner from disaster. Erik floored Ricochet with a stiff knee but Orton slammed him on the apron. Backstage, more members of Team RAW and Team SmackDown brawled.

CHAOS has erupted backstage!

Ivar took control of the match and dove onto Orton & Ricochet outside the ring. Orton was about to hit Ivar with an RKO when the SmackDown roster attacked the competitors in the ring. The referee called for the bell and the brawl continued. Orton, Ricochet and the Viking Raiders stood tall but the NXT roster attacked Team SmackDown. The Undisputed Era came to ringside and tipped the scales. Both rosters started brawling until Seth Rollins and the RAW locker room came to the ringside area. The brawl between the three brands continued.
