Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, emanating from Hartford, CT, boasted an impressive turnout, with the venue reported to be sold out, according to Pwinsider.
Such was the demand that even partial view sections, obstructed by the staging of entrance areas, were sold to eager fans who could only catch a glimpse of the ring without seeing the Titantron or entrances. With every seat occupied, except for those strategically blocked for production purposes, the event created a vibrant atmosphere, as affirmed by several WWE Superstars themselves.
An overall surge in the cost of tickets suggests that the RAW taping may have achieved the largest gate for a televised event in the venue’s history and further indicates a high level of interest in the WWE product these days.
Notably, the close proximity of the venue to WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT, drew the attention of numerous WWE executives who were in attendance at the show.
