On the podcast “Wrestling Shoot Interviews”, wrestler Raven recently shared his experiences with Paul Heyman during their time in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). The most notable part of his recollection revolved around his exit from the organization.
Here are some key points from his discussion:
Discussing his professional relationship with Paul Heyman in ECW, Raven stated, “Indeed, I was treated very well by Paul E. He was responsible for my payment, and truthfully, he is someone I have a strong regard for. I don’t have any undesirable things to share about him, in fact, I believe some of our prime work was mutually accomplished, only excluding his work within the past one or two decades which I am not familiar with. Until then, it was undoubtedly optimal output from him.”
Regarding his departure from ECW, he poured out, “The difficult time for me was when I decided to leave ECW. He was not at all pleased with that decision, to an extent where he did not speak with me for several years. That certainly bothered me, but eventually, we overcame that phase.”
