The latest episode of AEW Dynamite witnessed a surge in viewership and ratings within the 18-49 demographic category. The wrestling show attracted about 628,000 viewers overall, with 221,000 among the 18-49 age group, along with a 0.16 rating. The rating within the 18-34 audience was 0.13.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided a comprehensive dissection of these figures, offering an analysis for each fifteen-minute segment of the show.

On the day it aired, Dynamite ranked 12th overall and 3rd in its time slot. It trailed behind an NBA game between Boston and Oklahoma City on ESPN, which had 1,703,000 viewers and a 0.49 rating, and Fox News’ Watters (4,005,000/0.24) and Hannity (3,191,000/0.20). The preceding show, The Big Bang Theory, pulled in 921,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating.

When compared to the previous week, there was a significant rise in Dynamite’s viewership—a 4.7% overall increase, along with a 30.8% surge in the 18-49 demographic, and a substantial 80% jump in the 18-34 category.

However, when compared to its performance during the last year, a downward trend was observed. The overall viewership dropped by 21.6%, the 18-49 category by 37.7%, and the 18-34 group by 28.6%.

Dissecting the gender dynamics, the 18-34 category had 43,000 male viewers (a 65.4% increment) and 47,000 female viewers (a 95.8% increment). Amongst the 35-49 audience, there were 109,000 male viewers (up by 22.5%) and 22,000 female viewers (down by 26.7%). In the 18-49 category, the majority of the audience was male, at 68.8%.
