Raquel Rodriguez Reflects On Her WWE Journey, Bronson Reed Hypes Bloodline WarGames Match

WWE Superstar Raquel Rodriguez recently made an appearance on “WrestleRant Radio,” where she discussed her participation in tonight’s women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. She also chatted about how her career has journeyed full circle.

Highlights from the podcast are included below:

Rodriguez on participating in WarGames again after her stint in NXT: “I realised that it’s the same situation when I saw some old pictures of the WarGames where I powerbombed IYO through a ladder, which was really unbelievable to me. However, it kind of motivated me. Looking at it, it appears that the team is a similar blend, as we have all guys again, with IYO and Rhea [Ripley] on that team too. I do not want to drop any hints, but I have a good idea about their strategy, so I believe we’ll be well-prepared. Our team has really raised the excitement level for me.”

Rodriguez sharing her thoughts about this full circle moment in her career: “Without any doubt, it is. Presently, I’m not targeting Liv’s title because she’s like a sister to me. I’m here to assist her in retaining that title for as long as possible. I believe Nia is planning to reclaim her title back to SmackDown, but that definitely spurs my desire to be victorious and prove a point against all of those champions and past champions on the other team. The newly introduced IC Title presents an enormous opportunity for anyone who can compete in that tournament to win the title. So, the prospect of being able to show our dominance and return home victorious has gotten me really pumped.”

In a recent interview on “WWE La Previa,” Bronson Reed expressed his anticipation for tonight’s men’s WarGames match between The OG Bloodline and The New Bloodline.

Highlights from the interview are featured below:

Reed on the pressure of being the game-changer for WarGames: “Yes, of course. Being seen as the outlier or the determining factor for team victory does add a lot of pressure. I do not want to be the reason for any mishap that might lead to our defeat. However, I’m confident that won’t happen. I believe I will be the game-changer and I’m planning on doing things in that cage that will leave a memorable impression and perhaps even go viral. Ultimately, I hope to secure a win for us.”

Reed on his expectations for the WarGames match: “I’m hoping that the match will establish our entire team as big-league players. I hope that, in the future, Solo Sikoa is not seen as beneath Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed is not considered a midcard player. We aim to be recognised as prime-time talent deserving of main event spots.”
