In an interview with Bill Apter of WrestleBinge, Randy Orton candidly spoke about Vince McMahon’s recent exit from the creative helm of WWE and the subsequent transition under Triple H’s leadership. As per his statement, he perceives that both TKO and the entire enterprise are looking after the welfare of their talent.

Regarding this shift, Orton stated, “I have a deep respect for Vince since he provided me with countless opportunities, yet I believe the time had come for him to step aside. Even though the transition was not as smooth as we would have liked, it’s refreshing to now be managed by people who acknowledge the importance of being present for family occasions – birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the like.”

Orton also shared an anecdote where he had asked Vince for a less strenuous schedule due to health concerns. He recounted, “Once upon a time, Vince was running live Monday night Raw, and he wouldn’t take into account whether or not you had a family. When I was 35 and began having complications with my back, I implored him to lighten my workload so I could perhaps better recover, but his response was matter-of-fact. He said, ‘Randy, I need you on those shows. Mother Nature catches up with all of us.'”

Orton went on to express his thoughts, saying, “To absorb that and realize there’s nothing else I could do other than exhaust myself to the point of being unable to walk for this man was bitter. Even though Vince had given me numerous opportunities, I find it nice to have him out of the equation. Having his son-in-law, Triple H, assuming control has been a breath of fresh air.”

Orton showed his approval of the new management, saying, “It’s great to work with Nick Khan, and everyone from TKO who’ve stepped into new roles in the company seem to understand the new atmosphere we’re in. It’s a unique epoch, and the way they care and ensure the talent’s well-being is commendable. They understand that we need occasional breaks because we’re human after all.”
