Randy Orton Winks At AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio Retains WWE United States Championship

This week on WWE Monday Night RAW, WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio defended his title against AJ Styles. Mysterio beat Styles for the gold two weeks ago on WWE RAW. Both stars showcased their veteran expertise. They exchanged pin attempts early on. Styles took control and grounded Mysterio. The champion hit a moonsault outside the ring to earn some momentum. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of the OC came to the ringside area and the distraction let Styles regain control.

Styles unceremoniously threw Mysterio out of the ring. Mysterio hit a sunset flip powerbomb into the barricade. The champion planted Styles with an acrobatic DDT for a near fall. Gallows blocked Mysterio from hitting the 619 on Styles and Styles capitalized by dropping the champion with a neckbreaker. Both men fell off the top rope and Styles planted Mysterio with a Styles Clash. Randy Orton came to the ring, winked at Styles and the distraction let Mysterio roll Styles up for the win.
