If you’re fascinated by the heated Randy Orton and Edge rivalry that WWE has been flexing since WrestleMania, you could be in luck for some more fractured friendship between the two.

According to Dave Meltzer in his most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan as of now (which Meltzer notes could change 100 times over up until then) is that fans could see Edge vs. Orton in an I Quit match at WrestleMania 37, which is tentatively scheduled for Los Angeles. Meltzer also adds that he was told that Edge on RAW, along with Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, have been given roles as “part of the writing teams of the respective shows.”

As for WWE SummerSlam, the planned main event is Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. That feud was supposed begin budding this past week on RAW, but Meltzer reported earlier this week that plans were changed at the last minute and the focus was more on the Orton vs. Big Show main event. Meltzer does mention rumors swirling of Orton winning the title against McIntyre at SummerSlam (which is now going to take place at the WWE Performance Center instead of Boston due to the pandemic) but nothing is reported or confirmed in that regard.
