The WWE SmackDown event that was held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, reported a packed house, with all 16,728 seats filled. The news confirmed it was a full house.

Players from the Philadelphia 76ers NBA team, including Paul George, attended the WWE SmackDown TV tapings on Friday night in Philly. The attendance was met with jeers from local supporters, a reaction to their less-than-impressive season performance.

This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, started with the re-entry of Randy Orton, who hasn’t been seen after receiving a Piledriver from Kevin Owens during WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.

Orton initiated his speaking by mentioning John Cena’s surprising heel turn at the Elimination Chamber 2025 event. In a humorous tone, he implied that Cena, who had once been a champion, has become the “Rock’s bottom.”

The focus of his speech then switched to Kevin Owens, bringing to the forefront his recent back injury which almost ended his career prematurely. This life-altering event, Orton shared, made him savor every moment in the ring, while also trying to hold his jitters. However, his fight with Owens at the Elimination Chamber stirred the anger once again. Orton has now pledged to establish that he is a better punter than Pat McAfee in the WWE today.
