Randy Orton kicked off this week’s episode of WWE RAW, just one day removed from Orton’s loss to Keith Lee at WWE Payback. Orton explained that he punted McIntyre because the WWE Champion disrespected him last week. The Viper said Drew McIntyre deserves to be in pain. Orton listed the people he’s punted in recent months and said he deserves another shot at McIntyre. “I’m already entitled to a rematch,” said Orton.

The Viper vowed to do whatever it takes, including defeating Kevin Owens on WWE RAW, to earn another WWE Championship match. Orton displayed a photoshopped picture of his punt victims all laying next to each other in hospital beds. “That’s fantastic,” said Orton.

Not amused, Lee came to the ring and said Orton conveniently forgot to mention his loss at WWE Payback. The Limitless One said his win over Orton means that he deserves to face McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Later in the show, Orton emerged from Aleister Black’s personal room backstage. Black attacked Owens last week, and he attacked him on his way to the ring for his match with Orton.

Black rocked Owens with Black Mass and tossed him into the ring. Owens got to his feet and chopped Orton, but the Viper dropped him with an RKO for the easy win. With the victory, Orton advances to the triple threat match to determine McIntyre’s next contender.
