Wrestling superstar Randy Orton suggests that his record of becoming the youngest WWE World Champion at the age of 24 will not be surpassed anytime soon.
Orton made history by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam in 2004. However, he lost the title to Triple H just a month later during the Unforgiven pay-per-view affair.
While being a guest on the “Wrestle Binge” podcast recently, Orton was engaged in a conversation regarding the potential breaking of his remarkable record. When asked who could surpass him, he replied,
“Thinking about another young wrestler claiming the title of youngest World Heavyweight Champion from me, honestly, I find it unlikely.
“The circumstances leading to me earning the championship at the age of 24 were exceptional, unique even. The scenario of anyone younger achieving this seems improbable to me. So, I’m under the impression that I will retain this achievement for the foreseeable future, if not indefinitely.”
Orton’s decorated career includes being a four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and having ten WWE Championship wins to his name. The superstar also boasts of being a WWE Grand Slam Champion and a winner of Money in the Bank.
