Following his premiere at the recent ‘So High’ show, Raj Dhesi, also recognized by wrestling fans as Jinder Mahal, has unambiguously expressed his opinion on GameChanger Wrestling.
Mahal burst back onto the scene by confronting EFFY at the event, marking his first wrestling return since his 90-day non-competition agreement with WWE lapsed.
In a Twitter post, Dhesi explicitly shed light on his disillusionment with what he’s witnessed since joining GCW. His words were,
“If I didn’t have a contractual obligation and Brett [Lauderdale] hadn’t compensated me generously, I would never align myself with GameChanger Wrestling. Sharing the ring with someone like EFFY would have been inconceivable. But, now I am here, it’s my intent to elevate GCW to my caliber, the caliber of a true world champion. The sight of the locker room appalled me – rampant substance abuse, alcoholism, subpar fitness levels, poor-quality gear, and overall unprofessional conduct. Matt Cardona’s tenure as the GM leaves much to be desired, but let’s leave that for another discussion.”
When a query arose among the fans, asking Dhesi if he plans on conducting meet-and-greets in Toronto, the previous WWE Champion retorted with “anywhere but GCW Wrestling.”
This weekend served as a wake-up call.
