Rachael Ellering Discusses Wrestling in AEW and the Benefits of Working in ROH

Rachael Ellering, the daughter of legendary manager Paul Ellering, recently appeared on the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast to discuss her experience wrestling in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) during the COVID-19 pandemic and how her time in Ring of Honor (ROH) has been beneficial to her career.

Before joining AEW, Ellering worked in WWE NXT under the ring name Rachael Evers from 2016 to 2020. However, she expressed her love for her current stint in ROH, stating that she has fallen in love with the promotion all over again. While many wrestlers aspire to be on AEW’s flagship show, “Dynamite,” Ellering has found immense joy in being a part of ROH’s current roster.

Ellering explained that every week she goes out to perform in ROH, it feels like an opportunity to introduce herself to a new audience. She mentioned that she feels like nobody knows who she is, which creates a sense of excitement and anticipation. This feeling motivates her to give her best performance and leave a lasting impression on the fans.

In recent months, Ellering has made multiple appearances on ROH TV, showcasing her skills and building her reputation within the promotion. These appearances have allowed her to connect with a new fanbase and expand her reach as a professional wrestler.

Working in ROH has provided Ellering with valuable exposure and the chance to hone her craft. The promotion has a rich history and is known for its emphasis on in-ring action and technical wrestling. By being a part of ROH, Ellering has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best talents in the industry and improve her skills as a performer.

Additionally, ROH’s partnership with other promotions, such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), has opened doors for Ellering to potentially compete against top talents from around the world. This exposure to different wrestling styles and cultures can further enhance her abilities and make her a more well-rounded wrestler.

While Ellering enjoys her time in ROH, she also acknowledged the appeal of AEW and its live television shows. AEW has quickly become one of the top wrestling promotions globally, with a roster filled with talented performers and captivating storylines. Although she hasn’t had as much exposure in AEW compared to ROH, Ellering appreciates the opportunities she has had and remains open to future possibilities.

In conclusion, Rachael Ellering’s experience wrestling in AEW during the COVID-19 pandemic and her time in ROH have been instrumental in shaping her career. While she has fallen in love with ROH again and enjoys introducing herself to new audiences, she also recognizes the allure of AEW and the potential it holds for her future. With her talent and determination, Ellering is poised to make a significant impact in the world of professional wrestling.
