The WWE Thunderdome is the talk to the wrestling world. After months of shows from the Performance Center, WWE will put their pyro and ballyhoo to the test by taking over Orlando’s Amway Center with an LED-powered light show and virtual fans. For those who can’t wait for this week’s SmackDown to see the show, Pro Wrestling Sheet has managed to get a camera into the arena to see the work in progress:
Looking at the work being done, it seems that the dome portion of the Thunderdome will be an actual set of steel scaffolding encircling the ring. It seems like there’s a lot of work to still be done, but it’s a good start towards something that could be a unique way for WWE to continue in these strange times.
